Mum and Dad arrived August 23rd to settle here in Ohio to spend more time with their grandkids and try their luck at living the American dream (or something along those lines...).
They purchased themselves a nice new Honda Accord and have been practising their driving on the 'wrong' side of the car and on the 'wrong' side of the road. Interesting to say the least.
So far, I've only heard of one instance of either of them driving on the incorrect side of the road here!!
Here's a pic of them with their new car.
They also found a wonderful home that is an amazingly good deal, so they put in an offer which was accepted over the Labor Day weekend!
Details are being sorted out, but in the meantime, you can take a virtual tour of the house by clicking here.
Ethan started his second year of pre-school today. When asked how it went, he replied "it was really bad but I had a good time"... whatever that means???? And he's back to playing soccer after a week or so where we thought he had developed asthma. It turns out the first doctor he saw was incorrect and had diagnosed Ethan with possibly developing asthma when in fact it was allergies that were causing his cough. So a change in meds and he was running full force with no coughing at soccer practice this evening. Quite a relief!
Kyle on the other hand, has been in first grade for a couple of weeks now and seems to be enjoying the heck out of it. He's even reached the point where he's too busy talking at lunchtime to have time to eat his lunch. Seems like a good sign that he's settling in and feeling comfy with the whole school routine. It seems his favorite part of school is the free breakfast he gets each morning (pop tarts or granola bars with juice)!!
