This week has been an interesting and surprisingly tough one as I transition out of projects and wrap up loose ends before I finish up my time with GE Money in Kettering. Next Wednesday will be my last day in the office.
Shortly after the holidays, I'll begin the newest chapter in my career, at Thinkronize as their VP of Marketing. I'm really excited about what lays ahead and very eager to get in there and begin getting a lay of the land so I can figure out the biggest opportunities for success to focus on first.
But until next Wednesday, I'm focused on making sure I hand everything over with as much detail and support as possible. It's going to be tough saying goodbye to some of the greatest, most talented people I've had the pleasure to work with.
On another note, my copy of "Fishing For Stars" by Bryce Courtenay arrived this week. I am so STOKED!!! I can't wait to get stuck into it and just know that once I start, I won't be able to put it down. I love love love Bryce's books. Love 'em!
In other news, I placed the facebook advertising and bought Google AdWords for the tree farm this week. I completed the direct mailer and emailer for our customers (inviting them back this year) and hope to get some type of press release pulled together over the weekend.
This weekend sees us heading up to Columbus to tailgate and then watch the OSU vs. Michigan football game with friends--should be lots of fun.
