A little ray of sunshine.

What a treat it was to visit Orlando this past week for the Florida Educational Technology Conference where netTrekker (a product of THINKronize) had a booth on the tradeshow floor. I stayed at the Rosen Centre Hotel across from the Orlando conference center and spent most of my days heading back and forth between the two for various meetings with some of the industries brightest and most interesting people/companies.

This afforded me the luxury of the odd moment standing outside in the SUNSHINE. And whoa! how glorious it was. The skies were blue. The temperature was MUCH higher than back in Ohio. And on top of all that, I got another dose of just how amazingly kind, welcoming and considerate the people in the education industry are.

Our booth looked great and the THINKronize team were absolute professionals. They catered to prospective and existing users of netTrekker offering tips, advice and resources to help educators provide students with access to internet resources in a safe, relevant and affordable way.

It wouldn't have been anywhere near as productive a trip had it not been for two of my favorite THINKronites (whom I happen to consider friends), Warren Miller and Mimi Jett. They helped me collect my biggest collection ever (evah!) of business cards--developing relationships with some of the industry's finest professionals.

Truly one of my best, and most productive business trips to date. Loved it!

But I was so very, very glad to get back to the joy of my boys' hugs and kisses and the comfort of my own bed and pillow (boy do I appreciate that Tempur-Pedic investment)! I'm so lucky to have wonderful parents to take care of Kyle & Ethan in my absence (Mike was at a tree convention in Columbus).

Life is good...
